heavy snow near DC. big fuckin branch hit the roof (no apparent damage) and about 5 minutes later the power went out. Rocking my iPad and mifi.
19 hours without power, several big branches snapped, 4 hours with my tiny snow blower sluffing slush and we’re back to normal. Count myself lucky. This was the first snow storm I can remember with thunder and lightning too.
